The Department of Human Services review to costs of aged care four times a year:
- January
- March
- July
- September.
Undertaking a quarterly review enables Centrelink to regularly assess any changes to a person’s financial circumstances.
The Department of Human Services will send you a letter if there are any changes to your:
- income or means tested fee, or
- contribution to accommodation costs, including if a refund is due.
You can request an ad hoc review if your circumstances change and want to make sure you’re paying the correct fees and charges.
